Back up generator.

More information about Back up generator.
Back up generators are often used as a temporary power supply, for example for events. Our emergency power systems are always fixed emergency systems, and they are always designed for emergency purposes in combination with a UPS.
A back up generator can not supply uninterruptible power as a UPS, because the device is not running continuously and it always takes a short time to start. On the other hand, a UPS is always ready to supply and can supply the power immediately. During power failure and thus in UPS operation, the back up generator automatically starts and after a certain period of time automatically switches from the UPS to the back up generator as a power source.
The autonomy time at a back up generator depends on the amount of fuel available to the generator. Depending on the size of the fuel tank and the optional re-filling of this tank, the back up generator can run as long as fuel is delivered. Elinex works with several partners and back up generator manufacturers. We would like to advise you on technical advice regarding the choice of emergency systems and back up generators. Elinex is also the right place for brand-independent maintenance. Elinex is a contract partner for various networks where both UPS and back up generators need to be maintained.
