Founder and owner Elinex Power Solutions passed away.

We are sad to inform you that Huub van Raamsdonk, the founder and owner of Elinex Power Solutions B.V., passed away on Thursday May 28, 2020. He was the father of our director Bart and fellow co-workers Anne-Marieke en Susanna van Raamsdonk. Huub was a remarkable man and he will be greatly missed within our company.

33 years ago, Huub founded the company with the – at that time – quite new UPS technology and expanded his business through his drive, vision, joy and strength to become the largest brand-independent operator of emergency power solutions within the Benelux.

Huub was diagnosed by a neurologist with PMA (progressive muscular atrophy) on August 30, 2018. After a neurological examination in Leuven (B) the final diagnosis on January 24, 2019 was ALS. The neurologist as well as medical science informed that they had no medicine, no therapy, and no surgery for this disease. To Huub there was only the diagnosis of God, his heavenly Creator and Father. That was Huub’s hope. And we may comfort ourselves with the knowledge that Huub is with his God, without illness, without suffering and that one day we will see him again.

Professionaly, Huub had not been at the company for almost 1,5 years. “Bart van Raamsdonk, our oldest son, took over a large part of my duties. Bart has become COO since January 1, 2018 and I am very pleased that he has taken on this responsibility and that it is proceeding satisfactorily. In the near future, Bart will take on the tasks that belong to a CEO. ”
Since May 1, 2019 Bart van Raamsdonk has therefore served as managing director. Until the very last moment, Huub remained involved in the background.

Bart and all employees will continue to work in the same way and with the same inspiration as Huub has formed Elinex.
