Compliance with European Union WEEE and RoHS Directives
In compliance with the EU Environmental Directives, WEEE and RoHS, Elinex Power Solutions bv emphasises its commitment to the preservation of the global environment. Therefore, we are committed to supplying reliable and high quality products that can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. The WEEE and RoHS Directives are meant to increase recycling by reducing waste and decreasing the use of hazardous chemical substances in the manufacture of electronic and electrical equipment.
All of our products manufactured after July 1st, 2006 will fully comply with EU environmental Directives, namely Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and Restriction of certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS).
Product range
Our entire range of products which lie within the scope of WEEE Directive are identified by a crossed out wheeled bin symbol. Furthermore, we have already made an integrated arrangement with a credited WEEE recycling company for the take-back of worn-out products in order to recycle the discarded WEEE of our products in accordance with the best available technologies. To meet the evolving regulations, households and commercial companies are advised to contact Elinex sales representatives for further details regarding the take-back process for worn-out products as this is subject to change.
