Communication between UPS and user has become part of everyday life. Former technology went no further than acoustic and optical alarm systems. Today, remote management, reporting of prolonged grid outages and automatic shut-down of applications are standard features. At ELINEX Power Solutions, all hardware and software products required to realize this come under the heading of connectivity. ELINEX Power Solutions offers you a very extensive suite of products.

Our products can be wholly tailored to the customer's needs or wishes. Which brings us to a crucial point. The ability to deliver the products is obviously important. But what is even more important is the ability to determine first of all what the specific requirements are at system and/or application manager level. Arrangements can then be made in mutual consultation to arrive at the right solution. ELINEX Power Solutions has in-house specialists who know their business and do not back down from difficult issues!

The UPS products of ELINEX Power Solutions come standard with a signalling output in the form of USB or RS232. In addition, these systems feature expansion slots for specific applications such as management via a web browser (SNMP-card), an extra USB or RS232, an AS400 signalling protocol, building management system protocols, systems for recording e.g. temperature and humidity and relay contacts for an industrial environment.

Alongside these hardware solutions ELINEX Power Solutions carries a vast array of software products. One example is the shutdown software for the more than 20 principal operating systems that are supplied with each system. This software ensures that the systems in the network are shut down in the correct order in the event of a prolonged grid outage. But we also supply security software that monitors the performance of UPS units for business-critical applications and analyses trends. This programme calculates trends and stores data on the UPS performance in the database.

Technology is constantly advancing. The remote management of consumed electrical power is coming to the fore; as is the remote management and control of various functionalities in and around the UPS environment.
